A Beginner’s Guide to Levitation

this was my first go at designing up a full album – the new Dirty Stevie Album “A Beginner’s Guide To Levitation” which was released with a cracking gig at the oh yeah centre on saturday just past … the teeny pic didn’t really do it justice so click on it to see it bigger! thanks for katelyn for being a super model!

all images and artwork copyright Carrie Davenport so I know the big version is up there but please don’t steal it as its not big enough to print high res anyway :)

Congratulations to Debbie and Jamie on tying the knot in Belfast City Hall recently (and thanks for giving me the BEST cake cutting photo ever taken in the history of weddings!)

Oh Yeah Legends Awards

Belfast Music Week saw the Undertones crowned as the legends of Oh Yeah this year – the evening was great with a gig from the Undertones, supported by Colenso Parade, and then Derry songstress Bronagh Gallagher presented them with their award!

Ooooohhhhh wee..

The MTV Mark Ronson aftershow at the stiff kitten a few weeks ago was the first job I did after a weekend of crippling back death after throwing my back out working at a gig – it may have been the serious amount of painkillers talking but I had fun (until i slipped on someones spilt drink, fell off the stage and put my back out again – its a dangerous job this snapper lark!)

Mark Ronson takes a break from djing to have a whiskey...

...he wasn't the only one drinking the whiskey

ooh wee?

ahem???

dunno who this guy is but he had a great night :)

ASIWYFA

Round about this time last year I did a big shoot with the guys from And So I Watch You From Afar to promote the letters EP and their new album – I had a troop of extras who braved the cold and were truly awesome. Without them we mcouldn’t have managed this at all so big thanks to everyone who took part and here are some of the pics for you to enjoy (believe me it was as cold as it looks!)
