Some sneaky previews from a shoot with Brian Kennedy for a feature in Fate magazine. The interview talks about his upcoming peace concert hence the choice of the area around the infamous shankill/Falls Peace Wall as the location for the shoot. Ended up having less than 10mins with the man himself thanks to a pr mix up with timings but the photos turned out exactly how I wanted and he was a great sport for working so quickly too!!

Next Saturday sees Talulah Does the Hula play their first ever gig this side of the border, with support from Pocket Billiards and SilhouettE. Organised by Edwin Mcfee to celebrate his turning the big 30 – it should be a class night so all are invited – the more the merrier afterall!
So here’s my first ever go at designing a gig poster, hope ya like it – spread the word if you can

New website up by local dance act Tucandeo. I don’t often work with dance acts in posed shoots, mostly in clubs and live venues but I really enjoyed it – couple of great guys! Tried to get something a little different from these shots and it worked! Have had a couple more bookings this week already from people who liked these shots too which is class!

Ok so I’m not scared of much – what I am scared of is heights (and punch and judy puppets but thats another story!!) SO when I got the chance to photograph Duke Special on the Belfast Wheel I have to admit nerves kicked in – but I am pleased to report I conquered my fear for the occasion (well I stopped shaking long enough to point the camera ) and am well pleased with the results, he was an absolute gentleman to shoot - so here are a few sneaky previews of the man himself, currently promoting his Dukebox night at Belsonic…

Tried something a little different with these ones, playing about with long and double exposures (all these effects were achieved in camera bar a little upping of the contrast in photoshop) so let me know what you think!
